Beatriz checks into her hotel late at night. The clerk gives her a key card for room 214. She takes the elevator up to the second floor.
Beatriz faz o check-in no hotel tarde da noite. A recepcionista dá a ela um cartão-chave para o quarto 214. Ela pega o elevador até o segundo andar.
She finds room 214 and slides the card in. The light turns green, and she opens the door. A man's jacket lies on the bed inside.
Ela encontra o quarto 214 e passa o cartão. A luz fica verde, e ela abre a porta. O paletó de um homem está sobre a cama, lá dentro.
Beatriz stops and looks around the room. "This isn't my room," she says to herself.
Beatriz para e olha ao redor do quarto. "Este não é o meu quarto", ela diz para si mesma.
She quickly steps back into the hallway. Just then, a man walks up with a key card.

His name is Nolan. He holds a card for room 214 too.

They both look down at their key cards. Both cards say room 214.

"The front desk made a mistake," Nolan says.
"A recepção cometeu um erro", Nolan diz.
They walk down to the lobby together. The clerk checks the computer and gasps.

"I gave the same room to two guests," she says.
"Eu dei o mesmo quarto para dois hóspedes", ela diz.
She prints a new key card for Beatriz. "Room 308 is ready and empty," the clerk says. Beatriz thanks her and takes the new card.
Ela imprime um novo cartão-chave para Beatriz. "O quarto 308 está pronto e vazio", a recepcionista diz. Beatriz agradece e pega o novo cartão.
Nolan laughs. "Strange first meeting," he says. "Very strange," Beatriz says, and smiles.
Nolan ri. "Que encontro estranho", ele diz. "Muito estranho", Beatriz diz, e sorri.
She heads up to her real room this time.
