Yolanda gets out of a taxi at a hotel. She walks inside and gives her name at the desk. The clerk, Benedikt, looks through the computer and frowns.
Yolanda desce de um táxi em frente a um hotel. Ela entra e diz seu nome na recepção. O recepcionista, Benedikt, olha o computador e franze a testa.
"I don't see your booking here," he says.
"Não vejo sua reserva aqui", ele diz.
Yolanda shows him the email on her phone. Benedikt reads the address at the top carefully.
Yolanda mostra a ele o e-mail no celular. Benedikt lê o endereço no topo com cuidado.
"This is the Grand Hotel on River Street," he says. "But we are on Park Street," he says. "Two hotels, same name, different streets," he says.
"Este é o Grand Hotel da Rua do Rio", ele diz. "Mas nós estamos na Rua do Parque", ele diz. "Dois hotéis, mesmo nome, ruas diferentes", ele diz.
Yolanda laughs and shakes her head. "That explains why the driver looked confused," she says.

Benedikt calls a taxi for her right away. "It's only ten minutes to Park Street," he says.

Yolanda thanks him and waits outside for the taxi. The new taxi arrives and takes her across town.

She sees the second Grand Hotel on the corner. This time, the clerk finds her name quickly.
Ela vê o segundo Grand Hotel na esquina. Dessa vez, o recepcionista encontra o nome dela rapidamente.
Yolanda checks in and rides the elevator to her room. She sends a message to her friend about the mix-up.
Yolanda faz o check-in e sobe de elevador até o quarto. Ela manda uma mensagem para a amiga sobre a confusão.
"Two hotels, same name. Funny city," she writes.
"Dois hotéis, mesmo nome. Cidade engraçada", ela escreve.
