Florin waits in a hotel lobby with his parents. They are on holiday, and the trip is long.
फ्लोरिन अपने माता-पिता के साथ एक होटल की लॉबी में इंतज़ार कर रहा है। वे छुट्टियों पर हैं, और सफ़र लंबा रहा है।
At the check-in desk, there is a robot. It is white and it has a big screen. An old man stands in front of the robot. He holds a small bag. He looks very tired.
चेक-इन डेस्क पर एक रोबोट है। वह सफ़ेद है और उसकी एक बड़ी स्क्रीन है। रोबोट के सामने एक बूढ़ा आदमी खड़ा है। उसके हाथ में एक छोटा बैग है। वह बहुत थका हुआ लग रहा है।
"Please say your name," the robot says.

The old man talks fast. The robot says, "Sorry, I do not understand."
बूढ़ा आदमी तेज़-तेज़ बोलता है। रोबोट कहता है, "माफ़ कीजिए, मैं समझ नहीं पाया।"
"I do not understand it, either," the old man says. He sighs.
"मैं भी इसे नहीं समझ पा रहा," बूढ़ा आदमी कहता है। वह आह भरता है।
Florin watches them for a minute. Then he walks to the old man.
फ्लोरिन एक मिनट तक उन्हें देखता रहता है। फिर वह बूढ़े आदमी के पास जाता है।
"Can I help you, sir?" he asks.

"Yes, please," the old man says. "This machine does not like me."

Florin smiles. "Touch the screen here," he says. "Then say your name slowly."

The old man touches the screen. He says his name slowly, one word at a time.
बूढ़ा आदमी स्क्रीन को छूता है। वह अपना नाम धीरे-धीरे बोलता है, एक-एक शब्द करके।
The robot's lights turn green. "Hello! Welcome to our hotel," it says. A key card comes out of a small slot.
रोबोट की बत्तियाँ हरी हो जाती हैं। "नमस्ते! हमारे होटल में आपका स्वागत है," वह कहता है। एक छोटे स्लॉट से एक की-कार्ड बाहर आता है।
"Here is your card," the robot says. "Your room is 204."

The old man laughs and takes the card. "Thank you, young man. Now I need a bed."
बूढ़ा आदमी हँसता है और कार्ड ले लेता है। "शुक्रिया, बेटा। अब मुझे बस एक बिस्तर चाहिए।"
"Sleep well, sir," Florin says.
"आराम से सोइएगा, अंकल," फ्लोरिन कहता है।
