Florin waits in a hotel lobby with his parents. They are on holiday, and the trip is long.
Florin menunggu di lobi hotel bersama orang tuanya. Mereka sedang berlibur, dan perjalanannya jauh.
At the check-in desk, there is a robot. It is white and it has a big screen. An old man stands in front of the robot. He holds a small bag. He looks very tired.
Di meja resepsionis ada sebuah robot. Robot itu berwarna putih dan punya layar besar. Seorang pria tua berdiri di depan robot itu. Ia membawa tas kecil. Ia tampak sangat lelah.
"Please say your name," the robot says.
"Silakan sebutkan nama Anda," kata robot itu.
The old man talks fast. The robot says, "Sorry, I do not understand."
Pria tua itu berbicara cepat. Robot itu berkata, "Maaf, saya tidak mengerti."
"I do not understand it, either," the old man says. He sighs.
"Saya juga tidak mengerti," kata pria tua itu. Ia menghela napas.
Florin watches them for a minute. Then he walks to the old man.
Florin memperhatikan mereka sebentar. Lalu ia berjalan menghampiri pria tua itu.
"Can I help you, sir?" he asks.
"Boleh saya bantu, Pak?" tanyanya.
"Yes, please," the old man says. "This machine does not like me."
"Ya, tolong," kata pria tua itu. "Mesin ini tidak suka pada saya."
Florin smiles. "Touch the screen here," he says. "Then say your name slowly."
Florin tersenyum. "Sentuh layarnya di sini, Pak," katanya. "Lalu sebutkan nama Bapak pelan-pelan."
The old man touches the screen. He says his name slowly, one word at a time.
Pria tua itu menyentuh layar. Ia menyebutkan namanya pelan-pelan, satu kata demi satu kata.
The robot's lights turn green. "Hello! Welcome to our hotel," it says. A key card comes out of a small slot.
Lampu robot itu menyala hijau. "Halo! Selamat datang di hotel kami," katanya. Sebuah kartu kunci keluar dari celah kecil.
"Here is your card," the robot says. "Your room is 204."
"Ini kartu Anda," kata robot itu. "Kamar Anda nomor 204."
The old man laughs and takes the card. "Thank you, young man. Now I need a bed."
Pria tua itu tertawa dan mengambil kartunya. "Terima kasih, Nak. Sekarang saya butuh tempat tidur."
"Sleep well, sir," Florin says.
"Selamat beristirahat, Pak," kata Florin.
