Ivan chega em casa do trabalho na terça-feira.
A big box sits by his door.
Uma caixa grande está ao lado da porta dele.
He picks up the box and looks at it.
Ele pega a caixa e olha para ela.
The name on the box says "Paula Reyes."
O nome na caixa diz "Paula Reyes."
Ivan does not know a Paula Reyes.
Ivan não conhece nenhuma Paula Reyes.
He checks the address again.
Ele confere o endereço de novo.
The apartment number is 4B, not his 4D.

Ivan carries the box down the hall.
Ivan carrega a caixa pelo corredor.
He knocks on the door of 4B.

A woman opens the door with a smile.
Uma mulher abre a porta sorrindo.
"Hi, are you Paula?" Ivan asks.
"Oi, você é a Paula?", Ivan pergunta.
"Yes, that's me," she says.
"Sim, sou eu", ela diz.
"I think this box is yours," he says.
"Acho que esta caixa é sua", ele diz.
Paula looks at the label and smiles.
Paula olha para a etiqueta e sorri.
"Oh, my new lamp! Thank you so much."
"Ah, meu abajur novo! Muito obrigada."
"The driver left it at my door," Ivan says.
"O entregador deixou na minha porta", Ivan diz.
"That happens a lot in this building," Paula says.
"Isso acontece muito neste prédio", Paula diz.
She takes the box from his hands.
Ela pega a caixa das mãos dele.
"Would you like to come in for tea?" Paula asks.
"Você gostaria de entrar para tomar um chá?", Paula pergunta.
Ivan smiles and nods his head.
Ivan sorri e acena com a cabeça.
"Sure, I have some time," he says.
"Claro, eu tenho um tempinho", ele diz.
They sit at her small kitchen table.
Eles se sentam à pequena mesa da cozinha dela.
Paula opens the box and finds her lamp.
Paula abre a caixa e encontra o abajur.
"It's perfect for my reading chair," she says.
"É perfeito para a minha poltrona de leitura", ela diz.
"I'm glad it found the right home," Ivan says.
"Fico feliz que ele encontrou a casa certa", Ivan diz.
Paula laughs and pours two cups of tea.
Paula ri e serve duas xícaras de chá.
"Neighbors should help each other," she says.
"Vizinhos devem ajudar uns aos outros", ela diz.
"I agree completely," Ivan says with a smile.
"Eu concordo plenamente", Ivan diz sorrindo.
