New Roommates

Jun is sixteen years old. Today, he is going to move into his new dorm room. He feels a little nervous.

जून सोलह साल का है। आज वह अपने नए हॉस्टल के कमरे में रहने जा रहा है। वह थोड़ा घबराया हुआ है।

His parents help him carry his bags up the stairs. The dorm is bigger than he expected.

उसके माता-पिता सीढ़ियों से उसके बैग ऊपर ले जाने में उसकी मदद करते हैं। हॉस्टल उसकी उम्मीद से बड़ा है।

When Jun opens the door, he sees two boys already inside. They put posters on the wall.

जब जून दरवाज़ा खोलता है, तो उसे अंदर दो लड़के पहले से मौजूद दिखते हैं। वे दीवार पर पोस्टर लगा रहे हैं।

"Hi! Are you Jun?" asks a tall boy. "I'm Marco. This is my friend, Aki."

"हाय! क्या तुम जून हो?" एक लंबा लड़का पूछता है। "मैं मार्को हूँ। ये मेरा दोस्त आकी है।"

"Nice to meet you both," Jun says. He puts his bags down and looks around the room.

"आप दोनों से मिलकर अच्छा लगा," जून कहता है। वह अपने बैग नीचे रखता है और कमरे में चारों ओर देखता है।

The room has three beds, three desks, and one big window. It looks bright and clean.

कमरे में तीन बिस्तर हैं, तीन मेज़ें हैं और एक बड़ी खिड़की है। कमरा रोशन और साफ़ दिखता है।

"You can take the bed by the window," Marco says. "Aki and I already picked our spots."

"तुम खिड़की के पास वाला बिस्तर ले सकते हो," मार्को कहता है। "आकी और मैंने अपनी-अपनी जगह पहले ही चुन ली है।"

Jun thanks him and starts to unpack his things. Aki helps him find a good spot for his books.

जून उसे धन्यवाद देता है और अपना सामान खोलने लगता है। आकी उसकी किताबों के लिए एक अच्छी जगह ढूँढ़ने में उसकी मदद करता है।

"So, where are you from?" Aki asks. Jun explains that he grew up in a small town nearby.

"तो तुम कहाँ से हो?" आकी पूछता है। जून बताता है कि वह पास के एक छोटे कस्बे में पला-बढ़ा है।

They talk about music and their classes for the new year. Jun starts to relax.

वे संगीत और नए साल की अपनी कक्षाओं के बारे में बातें करते हैं। जून धीरे-धीरे सहज होने लगता है।

Later, Marco orders pizza because it is their first night together. They eat and laugh a lot.

बाद में मार्को पिज़्ज़ा मँगवाता है, क्योंकि यह उनकी साथ में पहली रात है। वे खाते हैं और ख़ूब हँसते हैं।

By night, Jun does not feel like a stranger. He feels happy in his new home.

रात होने तक जून को अजनबी जैसा महसूस नहीं होता। वह अपने नए घर में ख़ुश है।

He calls his parents and tells them the good news. "My roommates are really nice," he says.

वह अपने माता-पिता को फ़ोन करता है और उन्हें यह अच्छी ख़बर सुनाता है। "मेरे रूममेट सचमुच बहुत अच्छे हैं," वह कहता है।

That night, Jun goes to sleep. He feels very happy. He knows this year is going to be great.

उस रात जून सो जाता है। वह बहुत ख़ुश है। उसे पता है कि यह साल शानदार होने वाला है।
