Finn's laptop does not turn on. It is early, before his first class. He tries the power button three times.
फ़िन का लैपटॉप चालू नहीं हो रहा। सुबह जल्दी है, उसकी पहली क्लास से पहले का समय। वह पावर बटन तीन बार दबाकर देखता है।
He carries the laptop to a small repair shop. The shop is next to a bakery. A sign in the window reads "Fast Fixes."
वह लैपटॉप को एक छोटी मरम्मत की दुकान पर ले जाता है। दुकान एक बेकरी के बगल में है। खिड़की पर लगे बोर्ड पर लिखा है "फ़ास्ट फ़िक्सेस।"
"My laptop does not turn on," Finn tells the man. "I need it for class today."
"मेरा लैपटॉप चालू नहीं हो रहा," फ़िन आदमी से कहता है। "मुझे आज क्लास के लिए इसकी ज़रूरत है।"
The man's name tag says Percy. He plugs in the laptop and waits. "Let me take a look," Percy says.
आदमी के नेम टैग पर पर्सी लिखा है। वह लैपटॉप को प्लग में लगाता है और इंतज़ार करता है। "ज़रा देखने दीजिए," पर्सी कहता है।
Percy opens the back of the laptop. He shines a small light inside. "Look at all this dust," he says.
पर्सी लैपटॉप का पिछला हिस्सा खोलता है। वह अंदर एक छोटी टॉर्च से रोशनी डालता है। "देखिए, कितनी धूल जमी है," वह कहता है।
"Is that the problem?" Finn asks. He feels a little worried.
"क्या यही दिक़्क़त है?" फ़िन पूछता है। वह थोड़ा चिंतित है।
"The fan is full of dust," Percy explains. "It cannot spin. The laptop does not start."
"पंखा धूल से भरा है," पर्सी समझाता है। "वह घूम नहीं पाता। इसलिए लैपटॉप चालू नहीं होता।"
Percy takes a small brush from a drawer. He cleans the fan slowly. Dust falls onto a paper towel.
पर्सी दराज़ से एक छोटा ब्रश निकालता है। वह धीरे-धीरे पंखा साफ़ करता है। धूल एक पेपर टॉवल पर गिरती है।
He closes the laptop and presses the power button. The screen lights up right away. Finn watches with wide eyes.
वह लैपटॉप बंद करता है और पावर बटन दबाता है। स्क्रीन तुरंत जल उठती है। फ़िन आँखें फाड़कर देखता रहता है।
"That's it?" Finn asks. "The fix was very quick."
"बस इतना ही?" फ़िन पूछता है। "यह तो बहुत जल्दी हो गया।"
"Just a good cleaning," Percy says. "That is ten dollars."
"बस अच्छी तरह सफ़ाई करनी थी," पर्सी कहता है। "इसके दस डॉलर हुए।"
Finn pays and thanks Percy. He puts the laptop in his bag. He has time before class now.
फ़िन पैसे देता है और पर्सी को धन्यवाद कहता है। वह लैपटॉप अपने बैग में रख लेता है। अब क्लास से पहले उसके पास समय है।
He walks out of the shop quickly. His bus comes in five minutes. Finn starts a light run down the street.
वह जल्दी से दुकान से बाहर निकलता है। उसकी बस पाँच मिनट में आने वाली है। फ़िन सड़क पर हल्की दौड़ लगाना शुरू कर देता है।
