It is a normal Saturday for Noah. He wakes up and makes his bed. He walks downstairs for breakfast.
नोआ के लिए यह शनिवार का एक आम दिन है। वह उठता है और अपना बिस्तर ठीक करता है। वह नाश्ते के लिए नीचे जाता है।
The kitchen is quiet, and nobody is there. His mom left a short note on the table. "Please buy milk from the store," it says.
रसोई में शांति है और वहाँ कोई नहीं है। उसकी माँ ने मेज़ पर एक छोटा-सा नोट छोड़ा है। "प्लीज़ दुकान से दूध ले आना," उसमें लिखा है।
Noah puts on his shoes and walks to the store. He picks a carton of milk and pays for it. Then he walks back home.
नोआ जूते पहनता है और दुकान तक जाता है। वह दूध का एक डिब्बा उठाता है और उसके पैसे चुकाता है। फिर वह पैदल घर लौट आता है।
At home, the front door is unlocked, but the lights are off. Noah opens the door slowly and steps inside.
घर पर सामने का दरवाज़ा खुला है, पर बत्तियाँ बंद हैं। नोआ धीरे से दरवाज़ा खोलता है और अंदर क़दम रखता है।
"Surprise!" everyone shouts at once.
"सरप्राइज़!" सब एक साथ चिल्लाते हैं।
His family and friends stand in the living room. There are balloons, a big cake, and a banner on the wall. His best friend Caleb holds a small gift box.
उसके परिवार और दोस्त बैठक में खड़े हैं। वहाँ ग़ुब्बारे हैं, एक बड़ा केक है और दीवार पर एक बैनर लगा है। उसका सबसे अच्छा दोस्त कैलेब हाथ में एक छोटा-सा उपहार का डिब्बा पकड़े है।
"Happy birthday, Noah!" Caleb says, and he laughs. "We planned this for two weeks!"
"जन्मदिन मुबारक हो, नोआ!" कैलेब कहता है और हँस पड़ता है। "हमने यह दो हफ़्ते से प्लान किया था!"
Noah looks around the room. He sees his cousins, his neighbors, and his teacher from school. Everyone is smiling and clapping.
नोआ कमरे में चारों ओर देखता है। उसे अपने चचेरे भाई-बहन, पड़ोसी और स्कूल की टीचर दिखाई देते हैं। सब मुस्कुरा रहे हैं और तालियाँ बजा रहे हैं।
"I didn't know about any of this," Noah says. He puts down the milk and walks toward the cake.

"Make a wish," his mom says, "and blow out the candles."

Noah leans over the cake and blows out all the candles. Everyone claps and cheers loudly.
नोआ केक पर झुकता है और सारी मोमबत्तियाँ बुझा देता है। सब ज़ोर से तालियाँ बजाते और जयकारे लगाते हैं।
"Now let's cut the cake," Noah says, picking up the knife.
