Directions for a Visitor

Bruno works at a shop in the city center. He knows the streets very well. Every day, people ask him for directions. Today, a woman stops him on the street.

Bruno bekerja di sebuah toko di pusat kota. Ia sangat hafal jalan-jalan di sana. Setiap hari, orang bertanya arah kepadanya. Hari ini, seorang perempuan menghentikannya di jalan.

She holds a map and looks unsure. "Excuse me," she says. "Can you help me?"

Perempuan itu memegang peta dan tampak ragu. "Permisi," katanya. "Bisakah Anda membantu saya?"

"Of course," Bruno says. "Where do you want to go?"

"Tentu saja," kata Bruno. "Anda mau ke mana?"

"I need the museum," Keiko says. "I can't find it."

"Saya mencari museum," kata Keiko. "Saya tidak bisa menemukannya."

"No problem," Bruno says. "It's two streets from here."

"Tidak masalah," kata Bruno. "Jaraknya dua jalan dari sini."

"Really? I walked around for twenty minutes," Keiko says. "I feel very lost."

"Benarkah? Saya sudah berkeliling dua puluh menit," kata Keiko. "Saya merasa benar-benar tersesat."

"Follow me," Bruno says. "I know a fast way."

"Ikuti saya," kata Bruno. "Saya tahu jalan yang cepat."

They walk together down the street. Bruno points to a big clock tower.

Mereka berjalan bersama menyusuri jalan. Bruno menunjuk menara jam yang besar.

"The museum is next to that tower," he says.

"Museumnya ada di sebelah menara itu," katanya.

Keiko looks at the tower. "Now I see it," she says.

Keiko memandang menara itu. "Sekarang saya melihatnya," katanya.

They cross the street at the light. Bruno stops in front of the museum doors.

Mereka menyeberang jalan saat lampu hijau. Bruno berhenti di depan pintu museum.

"Here is the museum," Bruno says. "It opens in ten minutes."

"Ini museumnya," kata Bruno. "Buka sepuluh menit lagi."

"Thank you so much," Keiko says. "You are very helpful."

"Terima kasih banyak," kata Keiko. "Anda sangat membantu."

"You're welcome," Bruno says. "I like to help people."

"Sama-sama," kata Bruno. "Saya senang membantu orang."
