Giselle and Jared went to the adventure park for Jared's birthday. They put on helmets and safety harnesses at the front gate.
ज़िज़ेल और जारेड, जारेड के जन्मदिन पर एडवेंचर पार्क गए। उन्होंने मुख्य फाटक पर हेलमेट और सुरक्षा हार्नेस पहन लिए।
A worker showed them a wooden map near the entrance. Two paths started at the same platform, high in the trees.
एक कर्मचारी ने उन्हें प्रवेश द्वार के पास एक लकड़ी का नक्शा दिखाया। पेड़ों के ऊपर एक ही मंच से दो रास्ते शुरू होते थे।
The first path was a low bridge with wide wooden planks. It looked steady and easy to cross.
पहला रास्ता चौड़े लकड़ी के तख़्तों वाला एक नीचा पुल था। वह मज़बूत और पार करने में आसान लगता था।
The second path was a thin zip line between two tall towers. It looked exciting, but also a little scary.
दूसरा रास्ता दो ऊँची मीनारों के बीच बँधी एक पतली ज़िप लाइन थी। वह रोमांचक लगती थी, लेकिन थोड़ी डरावनी भी।
"Which one do you want to try first?" Jared asked.
"तुम पहले कौन-सा आज़माना चाहोगी?" जारेड ने पूछा।
Giselle looked up at the zip line for a long time. "Let's do the zip line," she said. "We can do the bridge after."
ज़िज़ेल ने बहुत देर तक ज़िप लाइन की ओर देखा। "चलो ज़िप लाइन करते हैं," उसने कहा। "पुल हम बाद में कर लेंगे।"
Jared laughed. "Are you sure? That one looks fast."
जारेड हँसा। "पक्का? वह तो बहुत तेज़ लगती है।"
"That's why I want to try it," Giselle said, smiling. "Before I change my mind."
"इसीलिए तो मैं उसे आज़माना चाहती हूँ," ज़िज़ेल ने मुस्कुराकर कहा। "इससे पहले कि मेरा इरादा बदल जाए।"
They climbed the ladder to the platform together. A guide checked their harnesses and clipped them to the cable.
वे साथ-साथ सीढ़ी चढ़कर मंच तक पहुँचे। एक गाइड ने उनके हार्नेस जाँचे और उन्हें केबल से जोड़ दिया।
"Ready?" the guide asked.
"तैयार?" गाइड ने पूछा।
Giselle nodded and stepped off the platform. The cable hummed as she flew between the towers. Wind rushed past her face, and she laughed the whole way across.
ज़िज़ेल ने सिर हिलाया और मंच से कूद गई। मीनारों के बीच उड़ते हुए केबल गुनगुनाने लगी। हवा उसके चेहरे से टकराकर निकल रही थी, और वह पूरे रास्ते हँसती रही।
Jared went next, shouting with excitement halfway through the ride.
अगला नंबर जारेड का था, और सफ़र के बीच में वह उत्साह से चिल्लाने लगा।
They landed safely on the other side and unclipped their harnesses.
वे दूसरी ओर सुरक्षित उतर गए और अपने हार्नेस खोल दिए।
"That was amazing," Jared said, still breathing fast.
"वह कमाल का था," जारेड ने कहा, उसकी साँसें अब भी तेज़ थीं।
"Now for the easy part," Giselle said. She pointed at the wooden bridge ahead. They walked across it slowly, still smiling from the ride before.
