Asking for Directions

Leo is on vacation in a new city. He is fifteen years old. Today he wants to see the old museum.

Leo sedang berlibur di sebuah kota baru. Ia berumur lima belas tahun. Hari ini ia ingin melihat museum tua.

Leo has a map. But it is hard to read. He does not know the way.

Leo punya peta. Tetapi peta itu sulit dibaca. Ia tidak tahu jalannya.

He sees a woman near a shop. She has a friendly face. Leo decides to ask her for help.

Ia melihat seorang wanita di dekat sebuah toko. Wajahnya ramah. Leo memutuskan untuk meminta bantuannya.

"Excuse me," Leo says. "Can you help me, please?"

"Permisi," kata Leo. "Bisakah Ibu membantu saya?"

"Of course," the woman says. "What do you need?"

"Tentu," kata wanita itu. "Apa yang kamu butuhkan?"

"I want to find the old museum," Leo says. "I don't know the way."

"Saya ingin mencari museum tua," kata Leo. "Saya tidak tahu jalannya."

The woman smiles. "It's not far," she says. "Walk straight down this street."

Wanita itu tersenyum. "Tidak jauh," katanya. "Jalan lurus saja di jalan ini."

"Then turn left at the big clock," she says. "The museum is on the right."

"Lalu belok kiri di dekat jam besar," katanya. "Museumnya ada di sebelah kanan."

"Thank you so much!" Leo says.

"Terima kasih banyak!" kata Leo.

"You're welcome. Have a nice day!" the woman says.

"Sama-sama. Semoga harimu menyenangkan!" kata wanita itu.

Leo walks straight down the street. He counts the shops. He watches the street carefully.

Leo berjalan lurus menyusuri jalan itu. Ia menghitung toko-toko yang dilewatinya. Ia mengamati jalan dengan saksama.

Soon, he sees the clock. He turns left. He walks a little more.

Tak lama kemudian, ia melihat jam itu. Ia belok kiri. Ia berjalan sedikit lagi.

There it is! The old museum stands in front of him. Leo feels very happy.

Itu dia! Museum tua itu berdiri di depannya. Leo merasa sangat senang.

He walks inside. He looks around the room. He is happy to visit the new city.

Ia berjalan masuk. Ia melihat-lihat ke sekeliling ruangan. Ia senang bisa mengunjungi kota baru ini.
