Malik waits for his train at the station. He sees a woman near the stairs. She has a big, heavy suitcase. She tries to lift it up the stairs.
मलिक स्टेशन पर अपनी ट्रेन का इंतज़ार कर रहा है। उसे सीढ़ियों के पास एक औरत दिखती है। उसके पास एक बड़ा, भारी सूटकेस है। वह उसे सीढ़ियों पर ऊपर चढ़ाने की कोशिश कर रही है।
The suitcase is too heavy for her. She stops and takes a breath. Malik walks over to help.
सूटकेस उसके लिए बहुत भारी है। वह रुककर गहरी साँस लेती है। मलिक मदद करने के लिए उसके पास जाता है।
"Do you need help?" Malik asks.
"क्या आपको मदद चाहिए?" मलिक पूछता है।
"Yes, please," Vera says. "This suitcase is very heavy."
"हाँ, प्लीज़," वेरा कहती है। "यह सूटकेस बहुत भारी है।"
"I can carry it for you," Malik says.
"मैं इसे आपके लिए उठा लेता हूँ," मलिक कहता है।
"Thank you. That's very kind," Vera says.
"शुक्रिया। आप बहुत भले हैं," वेरा कहती है।
Malik picks up the suitcase. It feels heavy in his hands. He climbs the stairs slowly.
मलिक सूटकेस उठाता है। वह उसके हाथों में भारी लगता है। वह धीरे-धीरे सीढ़ियाँ चढ़ता है।
Vera walks next to him. She carries her small bag.
वेरा उसके साथ-साथ चलती है। वह अपना छोटा बैग उठाए हुए है।
At the top, Malik sets the suitcase down.
ऊपर पहुँचकर मलिक सूटकेस नीचे रख देता है।
"Here you are," he says.
"लीजिए," वह कहता है।
"Thank you so much," Vera says. "You are very strong."
"बहुत-बहुत शुक्रिया," वेरा कहती है। "आप बहुत ताक़तवर हैं।"
Malik smiles. "It's not a problem."
मलिक मुस्कुराता है। "कोई बात नहीं।"
"What's your name?" Vera asks.
"आपका नाम क्या है?" वेरा पूछती है।
"My name is Malik," he says.
"मेरा नाम मलिक है," वह कहता है।
"I'm Vera. Thank you again, Malik."
"मैं वेरा हूँ। एक बार फिर शुक्रिया, मलिक।"
Vera checks her ticket and looks at the board.
वेरा अपना टिकट देखती है और बोर्ड की ओर नज़र डालती है।
"My train leaves in ten minutes," she says.
"मेरी ट्रेन दस मिनट में छूटेगी," वह कहती है।
"Okay! Have a good trip," Malik says.
"ठीक है! आपकी यात्रा शुभ हो," मलिक कहता है।
Vera picks up her suitcase and walks to the platform.
