The Delivery Driver and the Tip

Bodhi ordered pizza for a study night with friends. He added a tip inside the app. Then he paid for the order.

Bodhi pidió pizza para una noche de estudio con amigos. Agregó una propina dentro de la aplicación. Luego pagó el pedido.

The driver arrived twenty minutes later. He carried the pizza box up the stairs. Bodhi opened the door with a smile.

El conductor llegó veinte minutos después. Subió la caja de pizza por las escaleras. Bodhi abrió la puerta con una sonrisa.

"Here's your pizza," the driver said. He looked at his phone and frowned a little. "The app shows no tip," he said.

«Aquí tiene su pizza», dijo el conductor. Miró su teléfono y frunció un poco el ceño. «La aplicación no muestra ninguna propina», dijo.

Bodhi felt confused. "I added a tip," he said. "I am sure of it." He checked his own phone too.

Bodhi se sintió confundido. «Agregué una propina», dijo. «Estoy seguro de eso». También revisó su propio teléfono.

His screen showed the tip clearly. He turned his phone around. "Look, it's right here," Bodhi said.

The driver checked his phone again. "Oh, I see it now," he said. "It's under a different screen."

El conductor revisó su teléfono otra vez. «Ah, ya lo veo», dijo. «Está en otra pantalla».

"That's okay," Bodhi said. "No problem at all." The driver smiled and thanked him for the tip.

«Está bien», dijo Bodhi. «No hay ningún problema». El conductor sonrió y le agradeció por la propina.

"Sorry about that," the driver said. "Have a good night." He walked back down the stairs slowly.

«Disculpe eso», dijo el conductor. «Que tenga buena noche». Bajó las escaleras lentamente.

Bodhi closed the door and carried the pizza inside. His friends were already at the table. He set the box down and smiled.

Bodhi cerró la puerta y llevó la pizza adentro. Sus amigos ya estaban en la mesa. Puso la caja sobre la mesa y sonrió.
