The Delivery Driver and the Tip

Bodhi ordered pizza for a study night with friends. He added a tip inside the app. Then he paid for the order.

Bodhi memesan pizza untuk malam belajar bersama teman-temannya. Ia menambahkan tip di dalam aplikasi. Lalu ia membayar pesanannya.

The driver arrived twenty minutes later. He carried the pizza box up the stairs. Bodhi opened the door with a smile.

Pengemudinya tiba dua puluh menit kemudian. Ia membawa kotak pizza itu menaiki tangga. Bodhi membuka pintu sambil tersenyum.

"Here's your pizza," the driver said. He looked at his phone and frowned a little. "The app shows no tip," he said.

"Ini pizza Anda," kata pengemudi itu. Ia melihat ponselnya dan mengerutkan dahi sedikit. "Di aplikasi tidak ada tip," katanya.

Bodhi felt confused. "I added a tip," he said. "I am sure of it." He checked his own phone too.

Bodhi merasa bingung. "Saya menambahkan tip," katanya. "Saya yakin." Ia memeriksa ponselnya sendiri juga.

His screen showed the tip clearly. He turned his phone around. "Look, it's right here," Bodhi said.

Layarnya menunjukkan tip itu dengan jelas. Ia memutar ponselnya. "Lihat, ini ada di sini," kata Bodhi.

The driver checked his phone again. "Oh, I see it now," he said. "It's under a different screen."

Pengemudi itu memeriksa ponselnya lagi. "Oh, sekarang saya lihat," katanya. "Ada di layar yang lain."

"That's okay," Bodhi said. "No problem at all." The driver smiled and thanked him for the tip.

"Tidak apa-apa," kata Bodhi. "Sama sekali tidak masalah." Pengemudi itu tersenyum dan berterima kasih atas tipnya.

"Sorry about that," the driver said. "Have a good night." He walked back down the stairs slowly.

"Maaf soal tadi," kata pengemudi itu. "Selamat malam." Ia berjalan menuruni tangga dengan pelan.

Bodhi closed the door and carried the pizza inside. His friends were already at the table. He set the box down and smiled.

Bodhi menutup pintu dan membawa pizza itu masuk. Teman-temannya sudah duduk di meja. Ia meletakkan kotak itu dan tersenyum.
