Tarek waits at the bus stop on Monday morning. Today he takes the new bus. This bus has no driver.
The bus comes and stops by him. The door opens with a soft sound. Tarek looks inside. There is no man at the front.
He gets on and sits by the window. Only five people are on the bus. Nobody talks.
A quiet voice says, "Please sit down. We go now." The bus moves very slowly. Tarek looks at the shops outside.
It is a calm ride. The bus stops at every red light. It never goes fast. Tarek takes out his book and reads one page.
Then the bus stops. It is not a bus stop. It is in the middle of the road.
"What is wrong?" asks a woman. Nobody knows. Tarek looks out of the window.
A mother duck walks across the road. Seven small ducks follow her. They walk in a long line.
Everyone looks at the ducks. A small boy laughs. The woman takes a photo with her phone.
The ducks reach the grass. The bus waits one more minute. Then it moves again. Tarek puts his book in his bag. He waves to the ducks.
