Meeting Her Best Friend

Ezra feels nervous about meeting Naomi's best friend, but the coffee shop meeting goes better than he expects.
Ezra is going to meet Naomi's best friend today. He feels nervous about it. He wants Dara to like him.
Naomi tells him not to worry. "Dara is easy to talk to," she says. "Just be yourself."
They arrive at the coffee shop first. Ezra picks a table near the window and orders three coffees.
Dara walks in a few minutes later. "Hi, you're Ezra, right?" she says with a big smile. "Naomi talks about you all the time."
Ezra doesn't know what to say at first. Then he remembers something Naomi told him. "You two went to school together, right?" he asks.
Dara's face lights up. "Yes! We were in the same class for six years," she says. She starts telling stories about Naomi as a kid.
Naomi laughs and covers her face. "Please stop," she says, but she smiles too.
Ezra listens closely and asks other questions. He learns about Naomi's old hobbies and her favorite foods.
An hour passes quickly. Dara stands up and grabs her bag. "I have to go now," she says. "But Ezra, you're welcome anytime."
After Dara leaves, Naomi turns to Ezra. "So? What do you think?" she asks.
"I like her," Ezra says. "And I think she likes me too." Naomi squeezes his hand under the table.
