Two Different Parks

Wyatt texts his friend Iris on Saturday morning.

Wyatt mengirim pesan kepada temannya, Iris, pada Sabtu pagi.

"Let's meet at the park after lunch," he writes.

"Ayo bertemu di taman setelah makan siang," tulisnya.

"Sounds good! See you there," Iris replies.

"Oke! Sampai jumpa di sana," balas Iris.

At one o'clock, Wyatt walks to Oak Park.

Pukul satu, Wyatt berjalan ke Taman Oak.

He sits on a bench and waits.

Ia duduk di sebuah bangku dan menunggu.

Ten minutes pass, and Iris is not there.

Sepuluh menit berlalu, dan Iris belum ada.

Wyatt checks his phone, but there are no messages.

Wyatt memeriksa ponselnya, tetapi tidak ada pesan.

Across town, Iris waits at Pine Park.

Di seberang kota, Iris menunggu di Taman Pine.

She looks around, but she does not see Wyatt.

Ia melihat ke sekeliling, tetapi tidak melihat Wyatt.

"Where is he?" Iris says to herself.

"Di mana dia?" kata Iris pada dirinya sendiri.

She sends Wyatt a text with a question mark.

Ia mengirim pesan kepada Wyatt berisi tanda tanya.

Wyatt's phone buzzes, and he reads the message.

Ponsel Wyatt bergetar, dan ia membaca pesan itu.

"I'm at Oak Park, by the big tree," he writes.

"Aku di Taman Oak, di dekat pohon besar," tulisnya.

"I'm at Pine Park, near the swings," Iris writes back.

"Aku di Taman Pine, dekat ayunan," balas Iris.

"Oh no, there are two parks!" Wyatt writes, laughing.

"Aduh, ternyata ada dua taman!" tulis Wyatt sambil tertawa.

"I always forget that," Iris writes with a laughing face.

"Aku selalu lupa soal itu," tulis Iris dengan emoji tertawa.

"Stay there. I'll come to you," Wyatt writes.

"Tetap di sana. Aku yang ke tempatmu," tulis Wyatt.

He gets up and starts to walk.

Ia berdiri dan mulai berjalan.

Fifteen minutes later, he sees Iris by the swings.

Lima belas menit kemudian, ia melihat Iris di dekat ayunan.

"Finally!" Wyatt says. "Sorry about that."

"Akhirnya!" kata Wyatt. "Maaf ya."

He is a little out of breath.

Napasnya agak terengah-engah.

"No problem, at least we found each other," Iris says.

"Tidak apa-apa, yang penting kita ketemu," kata Iris.

They both laugh and sit down on a bench.

Mereka berdua tertawa dan duduk di sebuah bangku.

"Next time, let's pick one park," Iris says.

"Lain kali, kita pilih satu taman saja," kata Iris.

"Deal," Wyatt says, and they start to talk.

"Sepakat," kata Wyatt, dan mereka mulai mengobrol.
