Elouise receives a gift blender from her aunt. She already owns the exact same blender. She decides to return it for store credit.
Elouise menerima hadiah sebuah blender dari bibinya. Ia sudah punya blender yang persis sama. Ia memutuskan untuk mengembalikannya dan mengambil kredit toko.
She checks every drawer at home. She finds no receipt anywhere. She drives to the store anyway.
Ia memeriksa setiap laci di rumah. Ia tidak menemukan struk di mana pun. Ia tetap pergi ke toko dengan mobilnya.
"I don't have a receipt," Elouise tells the clerk. A woman named Selby looks at the box.
"Saya tidak punya struk," kata Elouise kepada pegawai toko. Seorang perempuan bernama Selby melihat kotaknya.
"That's okay," Selby says. "I can look it up with your card." Elouise hands over her credit card.

Selby types the card number into the computer. The purchase appears on the screen right away. "Found it," she says.

"Great," Elouise says. "What happens now?" Selby prints a new receipt and hands it back.
"Bagus," kata Elouise. "Lalu bagaimana sekarang?" Selby mencetak struk baru dan menyerahkannya kembali.
"I can give you store credit today," Selby says. Elouise nods and picks a new item instead.

She chooses a set of kitchen towels. Selby scans the new item. The store credit covers the whole cost.

Elouise thanks Selby and walks out with her towels. She leaves the blender box at the counter. Her aunt never learns about the switch.
