The Game Character Who Remembered Her

Sana plays her favorite video game every evening after homework. In the game, a shopkeeper character sells tools and maps. Sana visits his shop almost every day.

सना हर शाम होमवर्क के बाद अपना पसंदीदा वीडियो गेम खेलती है। गेम में एक दुकानदार किरदार औज़ार और नक़्शे बेचता है। सना लगभग हर दिन उसकी दुकान पर जाती है।

One evening, the shopkeeper says something new. "Back again?" he says. "Last time, you chose the sword over the shield." Sana stops and stares at the screen.

एक शाम दुकानदार कुछ नया कहता है। "फिर आ गईं?" वह कहता है। "पिछली बार तुमने ढाल की जगह तलवार चुनी थी।" सना रुक जाती है और स्क्रीन को घूरती है।

"That's strange," she says to her brother, Zola. "The game never did this before."

"यह अजीब है," वह अपने भाई ज़ोला से कहती है। "गेम ने पहले कभी ऐसा नहीं किया।"

Zola looks over her shoulder at the screen. "Maybe it's new," he says. "Check the game's message board online."

Sana opens her phone and searches for answers. She finds a message from the game's makers. The message explains a new update. The update gives game characters a new kind of memory.

सना अपना फ़ोन खोलकर जवाब ढूँढ़ती है। उसे गेम बनाने वालों का एक संदेश मिलता है। संदेश में एक नए अपडेट के बारे में बताया गया है। अपडेट गेम के किरदारों को एक नई तरह की याददाश्त देता है।

Sana closes her phone and smiles at the screen. "That's actually nice," she says. She picks up her controller again and continues the game.

सना फ़ोन बंद करती है और स्क्रीन की ओर देखकर मुस्कुराती है। "यह तो सच में अच्छा है," वह कहती है। वह अपना कंट्रोलर फिर उठाती है और गेम आगे खेलने लगती है।

The next evening, Zola plays the game with Sana. The shopkeeper greets him by name as well. "Now the game remembers both of us," Zola says.

अगली शाम ज़ोला सना के साथ गेम खेलता है। दुकानदार उसे भी नाम लेकर बुलाता है। "अब गेम को हम दोनों याद हैं," ज़ोला कहता है।
