Ben walks into a small café near his office. It is lunchtime, and the café is busy. He looks at the menu on the wall.
बेन अपने ऑफ़िस के पास एक छोटे-से कैफ़े में जाता है। लंच का समय है और कैफ़े में भीड़ है। वह दीवार पर लगा मेन्यू देखता है।
"Hello! What would you like today?" says the woman behind the counter.
"नमस्ते! आज आप क्या लेंगे?" काउंटर के पीछे खड़ी महिला कहती है।
"Hi. Can I have a sandwich, please?" Ben says.
"नमस्ते। एक सैंडविच मिलेगा, प्लीज़?" बेन कहता है।
"Sure. We have chicken, cheese, and egg. Which one do you want?"
"ज़रूर। हमारे पास चिकन, चीज़ और अंडे वाले हैं। आपको कौन-सा चाहिए?"
Ben thinks for a moment. "I'll have the chicken sandwich, please."
बेन एक पल सोचता है। "मैं चिकन सैंडविच लूँगा, प्लीज़।"
"Good choice. Anything to drink?"
"अच्छी पसंद है। पीने के लिए कुछ?"
"Yes, please. A coffee. Small, with milk."
"हाँ, प्लीज़। एक कॉफ़ी। छोटी, दूध के साथ।"
"That's one chicken sandwich and one small coffee with milk. Anything else?"
"तो एक चिकन सैंडविच और दूध वाली एक छोटी कॉफ़ी। और कुछ?"
"No, that's all. How much is it?"
"नहीं, बस इतना ही। कितने पैसे हुए?"
"That's six dollars," says the woman.
"छह डॉलर," महिला कहती है।
Ben pays and takes a seat by the window. A few minutes later, the woman brings his food.
बेन पैसे देकर खिड़की के पास वाली सीट पर बैठ जाता है। कुछ मिनट बाद महिला उसका खाना लाती है।
"Here you are. Enjoy your lunch!"
"ये लीजिए। अपने लंच का मज़ा लीजिए!"
"Thank you very much," Ben says with a smile.
"बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद," बेन मुस्कुराकर कहता है।
He eats his sandwich slowly. He watches people walk outside. It is a nice, quiet lunch break.
