Lost House Keys

Nadia comes home late from work. She looks for her keys in her bag. She checks the bag two times. The keys are not there.

Nadia pulang larut dari kerja. Ia mencari kuncinya di dalam tas. Ia memeriksa tas itu dua kali. Kuncinya tidak ada.

She thinks about her day. She had the keys at lunch. She used them to lock her bike. She thinks she left them at the café.

Ia memikirkan harinya. Ia masih membawa kunci itu saat makan siang. Ia memakainya untuk mengunci sepedanya. Ia mengira kuncinya tertinggal di kafe.

Nadia calls the café on her phone. A man answers the phone. "Hello, this is the Green Cup Café," he says.

Nadia menelepon kafe itu dengan ponselnya. Seorang pria menjawab telepon. "Halo, ini Kafe Green Cup," katanya.

"Hi, I think I left my keys there," Nadia says. "Can you check the tables, please?"

"Halo, sepertinya kunci saya tertinggal di sana," kata Nadia. "Bisakah Anda memeriksa meja-mejanya?"

"One moment, please," the man says. He walks around the café. "Yes! I see a key ring here."

"Tunggu sebentar, ya," kata pria itu. Ia berjalan berkeliling kafe. "Ya! Saya melihat gantungan kunci di sini."

"Great news," Nadia says. "I will come right now."

"Kabar baik," kata Nadia. "Saya ke sana sekarang juga."

She walks back to the café. It is only ten minutes away. The man gives her the keys.

Ia berjalan kembali ke kafe. Jaraknya hanya sepuluh menit. Pria itu memberikan kunci itu kepadanya.

"Here you are," he says. "Have a good evening."

"Ini dia," katanya. "Selamat malam."

Nadia takes the keys and checks them two times. Yes, these are her keys.

Nadia mengambil kunci itu dan memeriksanya dua kali. Ya, ini kuncinya.

She walks home and opens her door. She puts the keys in a small bowl. The bowl sits by the front door. Now she will always find them there.

Ia berjalan pulang dan membuka pintunya. Ia menaruh kunci itu di sebuah mangkuk kecil. Mangkuk itu berada di dekat pintu depan. Sekarang ia akan selalu menemukannya di sana.
