The Job Interview

Talia wakes up early. She is going to have a job interview today. She feels nervous but ready.

तालिया जल्दी उठ जाती है। आज उसका जॉब इंटरव्यू है। वह घबराई हुई है, पर तैयार भी है।

She puts on her best clothes and looks in the mirror. She practices her answers one more time.

वह अपने सबसे अच्छे कपड़े पहनती है और शीशे में देखती है। वह अपने जवाबों का एक बार और अभ्यास करती है।

Talia takes the bus to the office building. The company makes websites and apps for small businesses.

तालिया बस से ऑफ़िस की इमारत तक जाती है। वह कंपनी छोटे कारोबारों के लिए वेबसाइट और ऐप बनाती है।

She walks into the lobby and gives her name to the receptionist. The receptionist smiles and asks her to wait.

वह लॉबी में जाती है और रिसेप्शनिस्ट को अपना नाम बताती है। रिसेप्शनिस्ट मुस्कुराकर उससे इंतज़ार करने को कहती है।

A few minutes later, a man walks over. "Hi, I'm David," he says. "I'm the hiring manager here."

कुछ मिनट बाद एक आदमी उसके पास आता है। "हाय, मैं डेविड हूँ," वह कहता है। "मैं यहाँ का हायरिंग मैनेजर हूँ।"

They shake hands, and David leads her to a small meeting room. They both sit down at the table.

वे हाथ मिलाते हैं, और डेविड उसे एक छोटे मीटिंग रूम में ले जाता है। दोनों मेज़ पर बैठ जाते हैं।

"So, tell me about yourself," David says. Talia feels nervous and starts to speak.

She talks about her old job and the skills she learned there. David listens and takes some notes.

"Why do you want to work here?" David asks. Talia explains that she loves creative work and teamwork.

"आप यहाँ काम क्यों करना चाहती हैं?" डेविड पूछता है। तालिया बताती है कि उसे रचनात्मक काम और टीम में काम करना पसंद है।

David asks a few more questions about her experience. Talia answers clearly, and she does not rush.

डेविड उसके अनुभव के बारे में कुछ और सवाल पूछता है। तालिया साफ़-साफ़ जवाब देती है, और जल्दबाज़ी नहीं करती।

Near the end, David explains the job in more detail. He talks about the team and the daily tasks.

आख़िर के क़रीब डेविड उसे नौकरी के बारे में और विस्तार से बताता है। वह टीम और रोज़ के कामों की बात करता है।

"Do you have any questions for me?" he asks. Talia asks about the company's future plans.

"क्या आपके पास मुझसे कोई सवाल है?" वह पूछता है। तालिया कंपनी की आगे की योजनाओं के बारे में पूछती है।

David smiles and says the interview went well. "We will call you next week," he says.

डेविड मुस्कुराता है और कहता है कि इंटरव्यू अच्छा रहा। "हम अगले हफ़्ते आपको फ़ोन करेंगे," वह कहता है।

Talia thanks him and leaves the building. She feels proud, because she did her best.

तालिया उसका शुक्रिया अदा करती है और इमारत से बाहर निकल जाती है। उसे गर्व महसूस होता है, क्योंकि उसने अपनी पूरी कोशिश की।

On the bus, she calls her sister about it. She hopes she will get the job.

बस में वह अपनी बहन को फ़ोन करके इसके बारे में बताती है। उसे उम्मीद है कि उसे यह नौकरी मिल जाएगी।
