Choosing the After-School Club

Kenji has to choose between robotics club and choir, which meet at the same time, and picks the one that fits his week.
Kenji reads the after-school sign-up sheet. Two clubs meet on the same day. He likes both of them a lot.
The robotics club builds small robots every week. The choir sings songs for the winter concert. Kenji loves building things.
He also loves music, but not as much. He thinks about his afternoons this year. Robotics practice runs twice a week.
Choir practice runs three times a week. Kenji wants time for homework too. He makes a small list on paper.
"Robots" goes on one side. "Songs" goes on the other side. He counts the hours for each club.
His friend Nyla asks him at lunch. "Which club do you like?" she says. "Robots, but I like singing too," Kenji says.
"Then pick the one that fits your week," Nyla says. Kenji looks at his list again.
He picks up a pen and circles "Robotics." He walks to the sign-up sheet after school.
He writes his name under the robotics list. He feels good about his choice.
Kenji walks straight to the robotics room. He sits down next to two new teammates.
