The Mismatched Lids

Hana and her mother sort out a cabinet full of containers with no matching lids.
Hana opens the kitchen cabinet for a container. Plastic containers and lids fall out everywhere. None of the lids seem to match.
She tries lid after lid on one container. Each one is the wrong size. Hana sighs and sits on the floor.
Containers roll across the kitchen floor. One lid slides all the way to the door. Hana laughs a little at the mess.
Her mother walks in and sees the mess. "This drawer is always a problem," she says. They decide to fix it together.
They take every container out of the cabinet. They line them all up on the counter. It looks like a small plastic city.
They match each lid to its container. Some containers have no lid at all. Some lids have no matching container either.
Hana puts the lidless containers in a bag. Her mother finds two other missing lids. They throw away containers with no matches.
They stack the matching sets neatly together. The cabinet looks organized for the first time. Hana closes the door with a smile.
