The Delivery Robot on the Wrong Porch

A small delivery robot stops at the wrong house, and Imani helps send it to the right address.
A small delivery robot stops in front of Imani's house. It beeps twice and waits. Imani opens the door, but there is no package for her.
"That's not our robot," says Fenn, her brother. "We didn't order anything."
The robot has a screen on its front. It shows an order number and a photo of a box. Imani looks again and reads the address.
"This package is for the house on Maple Street," she says. "That's three streets away."
Fenn laughs. "The robot is lost."
Imani finds a small phone number under the screen. She calls it, and a calm voice from the delivery company answers.
"Our robot stopped at the wrong address," Imani says. "The screen shows Maple Street, but we live on Birch Street."
"Thank you for calling," the voice says. "We will send new directions to the robot now."
The robot's wheels turn, and it beeps again. Then it rolls back down the path. It turns toward the street.
"It's going to try again," Fenn says.
They watch it move down the sidewalk and turn the corner. A few minutes later, Imani's phone buzzes with a message. The package reaches the right house on Maple Street.
"Maybe we need a robot too," Fenn says with a grin.
Imani shakes her head and closes the door.
